We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established insurance brokerage in Exeter who are looking to welcome a new Account Executive into their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, professional business offering long-term career development.
While experience within personal lines insurance is desirable, it’s not essential — full training and support will be provided for candidates with transferable skills and experience from similar client-facing or administrative roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a portfolio of personal insurance clients (home, motor, travel and related products)
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, both over the phone and face-to-face
- Provide excellent levels of customer service and support
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal company processes1
- Monday to Friday with some Saturday mornings required.
About You:
- Previous experience within personal lines insurance is desirable, but not essential
- Transferable skills from roles involving client management, account handling or administration would be highly beneficial
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable managing your own workload while contributing to a wider team
- Cert CII (or working towards) would be advantageous but is not required
