Accounts Senior/Semi

TLB Consulting is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a modern and forward-thinking accountancy practice, for an Accounts Semi-Senior / Senior to join their growing team in Saltash.

The Role

As part of a client-focused team, you will support a range of businesses with their accounting and finance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of Limited Company Accounts
• Preparation of Tax Returns
• Preparation and first review of VAT Returns
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Supporting and developing client relationships
• Assisting clients with day-to-day accounting queries

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
• Hold AAT Level 3 or above, or have equivalent practical experience
• Have strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Enjoy building relationships with clients and colleagues
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Be comfortable working with modern accounting software (experience with Xero and Dext would be advantageous)

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of £26,000 – £38,000 depending on experience and qualifications
