About the Opportunity

TLB Consulting are delighted to be supporting Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF) as they continue to grow their fundraising team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-respected local charity that makes a real difference to the lives of individuals and families across Devon affected by blood cancer.

ELF provides practical, emotional, and financial support to those facing some of life’s most challenging circumstances, and their work has a significant impact on communities throughout the region.

As a Fundraiser, you’ll play a key role in helping the charity continue and expand this vital support. Working closely with local businesses, community groups, supporters, and volunteers, you’ll help generate the income needed to fund ELF’s services while building lasting relationships within the local community.

Whether you already have fundraising experience or bring transferable skills from a background in sales, business development, recruitment, events, marketing, hospitality, customer service, or another people-focused role, this position offers the opportunity to develop a rewarding career while supporting a fantastic cause.

The Role

As a Fundraiser, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with supporters, businesses, community groups, and volunteers while helping to generate income through a variety of fundraising activities and initiatives.

You will play an important role in raising awareness of ELF throughout Devon and supporting the charity’s continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with supporters, donors, businesses, community groups, and local organisations.
• Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities.
• Support and deliver fundraising campaigns, events, and community initiatives.
• Recruit, support, and motivate volunteers and community fundraisers.
• Represent ELF at networking events, meetings, and community activities.
• Manage supporter information and fundraising activity using the charity’s CRM system.
• Support marketing and awareness campaigns through digital and traditional channels.
• Assist with reporting, administration, and supporter communications.
• Help increase awareness of ELF and the support provided to families across Devon.

Desirable

• Previous fundraising experience.
• Experience in sales, recruitment, business development, marketing, events, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience working with volunteers or community groups.
• Experience using CRM systems.
