Financial Planning Administrator – Adviser Career Pathway

Location: Outskirts of Exeter
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Contract: Permanent and office based

TLB Consulting is supporting an ambitious and rapidly growing independent financial planning and wealth management business with the appointment of a Trainee Financial Planning Administrator.

This is much more than a traditional administration role. You will learn directly from experienced Chartered Financial Planners, receive full training and have the opportunity to work towards relevant professional qualifications.

The initial focus will be on building strong foundations in client service and financial planning administration. As your knowledge and experience develop, there is genuine potential to progress into paraplanning and, over time, financial advice.

The office is situated in an excellent location on the outskirts of Exeter, offering free parking and access to impressive onsite facilities.

THE ROLE

Working as part of a friendly and experienced team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing client review packs and meeting documentation
• Obtaining valuations and information from financial providers
• Processing Letters of Authority and new business applications
• Maintaining accurate client records and CRM information
• Completing post meeting administration and following up actions
• Chasing providers for outstanding information and paperwork
• Supporting compliance and general client administration
• Managing calls, emails, post and correspondence
• Learning about financial planning products, processes and regulations

Previous financial services experience is not essential. Experience within administration, customer service or a professional office environment would be beneficial, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are equally important.

• £26,000 to £30,000, depending on experience
