The Role
As Lettings Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day lettings operation across the Honiton area while developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants and colleagues.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the lettings portfolio across East Devon, West Dorset and surrounding areas.
- Growing and developing the managed portfolio through business development and landlord acquisition.
- Carrying out market appraisals and winning new instructions.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Supporting applicants throughout the lettings journey from enquiry through to move-in.
- Coordinating with Property Management colleagues to ensure an excellent customer experience.
- Monitoring market conditions and advising clients on rental values and legislation.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant lettings legislation and company procedures.
- Delivering excellent customer service while achieving business performance targets.
- Representing the business professionally within the local community.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and commercially minded property professional with previous experience within residential lettings.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience within residential lettings.
- Have experience valuing properties and winning new business.
- Be confident developing relationships with landlords and applicants.
- Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Be highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Have a proactive and customer-focused approach.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Be ambitious, self-motivated and keen to contribute to the continued growth of the business.
