TLB Consulting is working on behalf of a highly respected, family-owned construction company to recruit an experienced Construction Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as required to meet key milestones
Team Management
- Lead and manage site teams, including supervisors, contractors, and labourers
- Allocate tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure efficient delivery
- Promote a positive working environment with a strong focus on collaboration, safety, and quality
Health, Safety and Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Implement and enforce site safety protocols to minimise risks
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards
Cost and Budget Management
- Monitor project budgets and ensure effective use of resources
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Quality Assurance
- Implement and maintain quality control processes across all projects
- Carry out regular inspections to ensure standards are met
- Address issues promptly and work with stakeholders to maintain client satisfaction
Communication and Reporting
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Provide regular updates on project progress, budgets, and any risks or delays
- Maintain clear communication across all project teams
About You
- Proven experience managing construction projects within the UK
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and industry best practices
- Experience working closely with design and costing teams
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from inception through to completion
- CSCS Card (essential)
- CITB Level 3 Safety certification (desirable)
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools
